Cairo – Mubasher: Canal Co. For Electricity Distribution announced the completion of replacing, upgrading, expanding, and conducting maintenance at power distribution networks at a value of EGP 1.2 billion.
Works included the establishment of new electric power distribution grids, replacing 14 electrical distributors, extending entry and exit cables along 421 kilometre, and adding and replacing feeders along 464.6 kilometres, the company’s chairman Mohammed El-Sayed said in a statement.
Canal Co is geographically serving a number of governorates, including Sharqia, Ismailia, Port Said, Suez, the Red Sea, North Sinai, South Sinai, as well as the new cities such as the 10th of Ramadan, Shorouk City, Badr City, Mostakbal City, Huckstep, and New Saleheyah, El-Sayed noted.
