Cairo - Mubasher: The financial indicators of Canal Shipping Agencies for the third quarter of fiscal 2016-2017 showed that the company has achieved losses of EGP 108.37 million versus profits of EGP 25.21 million the same period last year.
The company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday that profits declined by 1% during the nine-month period that ended on 31 March 2017 to EGP 45.28 million compared to EGP 45.77 million in the corresponding period in FY15/16.
Between July 2016 and March 2017, revenues decreased to EGP 40.4 million down from EGP 43.3 million in the same period the year before.
Canal Shipping reported in a previous bourse filing, foreign exchange gains of EGP 125.8 million by the end of last December.
