Cairo – Mubasher: Canal Shipping Agencies has reported a 31% year-on-year profit increase during the first six months of the fiscal year 2019/2020.
The company’s net profit grew to EGP 161.99 million from July to December 2019, compared to EGP 123.43 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.
On the other hand, revenue went down to EGP 33.81 million in the July-December period, from EGP 48.09 million a year earlier.
It is noteworthy that Canal Shipping generated EGP 128.4 million in net profit during the three-month period ended last September.
