Cairo – Mubasher: Canal Shipping Agencies has posted a 36% year-on-year increase in net profits for the nine-month period ended March 2019.
The company has achieved a net profit of EGP 177.3 million during the July-March period of fiscal year 2018/2019, compared to EGP 130.6 million in the prior-year period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.
Revenues amounted to EGP 63.9 million during the first nine months of FY18/19, versus EGP 66.07 million in the corresponding period of FY17/18.
In the first half of FY18/19, Canal Shipping Agencies previously reported a net profit of EGP 123.4 million, versus EGP 79.5 million in H1-17/18.
