Canon strengthens its presence in Africa

Cairo –Decypha: Cannon Central and North Africa ​​(CCNA) forms strategic partnership with two key distributors, namely, DEVEA and Electronic Corporation, announced Canon in a press release.

 

The partnership comes in lieu of the company’s vision to strength its presence in the African countries and establish presence in the region. Specifically in terms of Senegal, CCNA aspires to cover the Senegalese market in all of its provinces with the variety of products to enhance the local distribution network.

 

The two companies, DEVEA and Electronic Corporation, are two of the well-known distributors in West and Central Africa because of the breadth of their distribution channel, extensive financial abilities, and their experience in the IT market.

 

Canon will continue to provide field support for sales and marketing of value-added new partners in Senegal, to meet the needs of the rapidly growing customers in this evolving market within the business sectors businesses and consumers alike.

 

There are now efforts to stakeholders at the local and international levels to support and enable this small and medium sized businesses to contribute to the overall economic development.

 

"Senegal is considered one of the fastest-developed countries in Africa, characterized by fast-growing segment of population of young people, and the emergence of small and medium-sized companies across the country. CCNA seeks to enter this market and access to maximize the potential,” said Roman Troedthandl, Managing Director of the company.

 

“We will further enhance our network of distributors and partners in Senegal as we continue to work on strengthening our overall presence in the African region before we eventually open our first B2B & PV showroom in the country. Our partnership with DEVEA and Electronic Corporation will assist us to tap the huge potential offered by IT and consumer electronic dealer channels through channel penetration and visibility enhancement at key retail stores,” added Troedthandl.
