Doha – Mubasher: Capital Intelligence (CI), the international credit rating agency, said Tuesday that it affirmed the financial strength rating of Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) at ‘A-’, with a ‘Positive’ outlook, according to a bourse filing.
CI also confirmed the Qatar-listed bank’s long and short term foreign currency ratings at ‘A’ and ‘A2’ respectively.
The agency said the QIIB managed to maintain the profitability level of the operational activities, and enjoys high quality assets and high liquidity levels.
Moody's Investors Service earlier upgraded QIIB ratings to (A2) with a ‘Stable’ outlook.
