Dubai – Mubasher: Careem has acquired Indian bus shuttle service app, Commut.
The acquisition comes in line with Dubai-based ride-hailer's plan to expand in mass transportation.
Careem is planning to expand Commut’s bus services across 100 cities, it said in a statement.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The present deal has concluded in tandem with talks between Uber and Careem over the acquisition of the latter in a $2 billion deal.
