Dubai – Mubasher: Careem launched roadside assistance service in the streets of Dubai, while it plans to roll out the service to other areas within the UAE.
The new service comprises emergency assistance options, including battery boosting, battery replacement, fuel delivery, at a fixed price of AED 100, on top of the fuel ordered or the battery replaced, the Middle East ride-hailing app said in a statement on Monday.
The new on-demand service will be available on Careem’s application for car owners, through a “Roadside Assistance” feature, which could be used during the 24 hours of the day.
“Roadside assistance is a part of our on-going commitment to provide innovative services that help positively impact and simplify the daily lives of the UAE residents,” the ride-hailing giant’s UAE general manager Gheed Al Makkaoui said.
