Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Tarek Kabil, said Sunday that U.S. Cargill plans to expand its investments in Egypt to $300 million.
The company is now developing a grain storage project in the El Dekhela Port with investments worth $10 million and an additional capacity of 42,000 metric ton, according to a statement.
Kabil added that Cargill is currently expanding its soybean factory in Borg El Arab, Alexandria governorate, noting that expansion works will be completed next October.
