Cairo – Mubasher: Centamin plc on Wednesday posted a 1.17% drop in gold production from its Egypt flagship Sukari mine in 2017.
Gold production amounted to 544,600 ounces last year, versus about 551,030 ounces in 2016, the gold mining company added in a statement.
Production surged by 12% year-on-year to 154,200 ounces in the fourth quarter of 2017, compared to 136,000 ounces in the same period a year earlier.
