Cairo - Mubasher: Gold miner Centamin Company reported a gross profit of $101.6 million in the second quarter of 2016, compared to $37.3 million in the same quarter last year, according to a bourse filing.
The company said that its production levels grew 12% quarter-on-quarter, and 30% year-on-year, reaching 140,300 ounces in Q2-16.
Centamin predicts to produce between 520,000 and 540,000 ounces in 2016, surpassing previous estimates of 470,000 ounces.
