Cairo – Mubasher: Centamin plc on Monday reported a 14% year-on-year surge in gold production from its Egypt flagship Sukari mine during the first quarter of 2018.
Gold production fell 19% quarter-on-quarter to 124,200 ounces in the first three-month period of 2018, the gold mining company added in a statement.
The Jersey-based company indicated that gold reserves from the Egyptian mine climbed to 4.14 million tonnes in Q1-18 from 1.96 million tonnes.
