Cairo – Mubasher: China-based Infinix Mobile is currently in talks with the Egyptian government over setting up a factory to make mobile phones in Egypt.
The mobile phones' manufacturer plans to expand its investments overseas and Egypt is one of the countries which is a candidate for business expansion, local newspaper Al Shorouk reported, citing Infinix’s managing director Benjamin Jian as saying.
It is worth noting that Infinix and Meizu Technology Co were considering the establishment of their production lines to manufacture smartphones in the North African nation. Both firms had conducted feasibility studies regarding the matter.
