China’s JD.com to collaborate with KSA, eyes investing in MENA – Reuters

Riyadh – Mubasher: China-based, JD.com Inc plans to collaborate with the Saudi government, in line with the Chinese firm plans to invest in the MENA region, Reuters reported, citing senior executive official as saying.

The company plans to partner with the Kingdom’s government, as the Saudi 2030 vision is good opportunity, the president of the firm’s international business Winston Cheng said.

“JD.com’s comments came as Saudi Arabia’s main sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) organises a major business conference in Riyadh with technology singled out as a core area of investment,” the agency added.

“This (region) is the next new frontier,” Cheng concluded.
