Cairo – Mubasher: China’s Saf-Bon group plans to carry out four projects on desalination and waste recycling at $1 billion within a four-year timeframe, said the Ministry of Investment on Thursday.
The group arranges to build up a recycling plant in Kafr el-Sheikh with a capacity of 1,500 tonnes, in Belbes with a capacity of 8,000 tonnes, and in Faiyum with a capacity of 1,500 tonnes, along with a desalination plant with a productivity of 50 cubic meters per day in Faiyum, investment Minister Dalia Khorshid said.
China is placed twenty third among foreign investors in Egypt with 1,226 active companies pumping $500 million investments up till 2016.
