Mubasher: China’s Shanghai Index shut Monday on an up note, while other Asian bourses were mixed.
The index rose by 1.77% to reach 3,642.47 points, which is the highest level since 25 November. Hang Seng also added 0.17% to 2,1792 points.
India’s Sunsex index gained 0.82%, Asia Dow Jones inched higher by 0.01%, while Singapore Index lost 0.20%.
Japan’s index Nikkei fell to its lowest level in a week.
