Mubasher: Chinese stocks ended Friday on a positive note, following the record declines seen this week.
Shanghai Index advanced by 1.95% to 20,454 points, but lost 10% during the week, which is the biggest one-week decline since August, 2015.
Hang Seng Index also rose by 0.59% to 20,454.
China's central bank raise slightly the benchmark price for the yuan today, following eight sessions of declines that rocked global markets.
