Mubasher: China stocks closed Tuesday higher, fuelled by positive news that the government seeks to make its financial and monetary policies more flexible and maintain suitable growth rates for 2016.
China’s central bank raised the local currency’s exchange rate against dollar, and thus ended a 10-day losing streak.
Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.26% to 3,652 points, and Hang Seng Index ended 0.18% higher at 21,830.
