China to reduce customs duties on some consumer goods in December

Mubasher: China stated that it will reduce customs duties on some consumer goods, effective the coming December, said on Friday the country’s Finance Ministry.

The ministry said that it will decrease customs duties’ ratio to 7.7%, from 17.3% on food, health, medicines, clothes, shoes, hats, and other daily goods products.

This procedure is a part of which China follows since 2015 to reduce import duties, amid growing demand for imported consumer goods.
