Cigna opens new office in Dubai

Dubai – Mubasher: US health insurer Cigna Corp has inaugurated its new office in the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

This branch is a part of Cigna’s expansion as the global health services provider plans to hire and develop domestic employees, in addition to enhancing their local and regional presence, the company said on Tuesday. 

The 20,000-sqft premises will be an integrated office space accommodating up to 200 employees across the company’s group health and individual private medical insurance (IPMI) businesses. 

The new office boost Cigna's position to deliver effective personal and local health service solutions in the UAE and across the Middle East region, the company added.

“The region’s insurance market is ripe for expansion and remains central to our global growth strategy. We are delighted to reach another milestone in the Middle East with the opening of our new and team-centric headquarters in the DWTC business complex,” Cigna Insurance Middle East CEO Art Cozad said.

Cigna's strategy is to bolster the reach of its health services and solutions, as well as develop new offerings in the market that will improve health outcomes for the customers, Cozad noted.
