Riyadh – Mubasher: City Cement on Tuesday reported achieving a net profit of SAR 73.2 million ($19.52 million) in the first quarter of the year, a rise of 8% from SAR 67.59 million ($18.02 million) in the same period in 2015.
The company attributed its profit growth to increased sales alongside a slight rise in other revenues and lower selling expenses despite a rise in Zakat provisions and general and administrative expenses.
