Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of City Cement gave the green light to paying out cash dividends for the first six months of 2016 at SAR 0.75 a share, or 7.5% of capital, totaling SAR 141.9 million, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Shareholders of record until the first of August would be entitled to the cash dividends totaling SAR 141.9 million, the bourse filing revealed.
The distribution of the dividends will be starting on 15 August, the filing indicated.
The company operates with a paid-in capital of SAR 1.89 billion, divided into 189.2 million shares at a nominal value of SAR 10 each.
During the second quarter, the company earned SAR 64.85 million, down 5% year-over-year from SAR 68.25 million.
But its earnings for the first six months rose by 1.63% to SAR 138 million.
