Dubai – Mubasher: Cityland Group on Monday announced appointing McARTHUR + COMPANY as operators for its GLA mall project in Dubai.
Scheduled for launch in 2018, the GLA mall project is the UAE's first nature-inspired mall and is currently under construction on 1.2 million square feet of space, located adjacent to the Global Village and in close proximity to Arabian Ranches, Majan, Al Barari, Layan, and Falcon City, the company said in a statement.
The mall will feature over 350 retail outlets, the largest hypermarket in the Dubailand area, unique dining options, cinemas and a variety of entertainment offerings, the company added, noting that it will serve over 225,000 residents in Dubailand.
McARTHUR + COMPANY and its partners have successfully developed, managed and leased many large mall projects in the Middle East for over two decades, including the Deira City Centre, Egypt's Citystars in Cairo as well as Dubai Festival City.
