Cityscape Dubai: $10bn projects unveiled on day one

Dubai - Mubasher: The Cityscape Global real estate exhibition in Dubai has witnessed around AED 35 billion ($9.5 billion) in offered properties during its first day.

Dubai South unveiled two new projects The Villages and The Pulse, with an area of around 87 million square feet, and investments totalling AED 25 million ($6.8 million).

Nakheel also launched two new landmark projects, Ibn Battuta Residences, and Palm 360 on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah.

Similarly, DAMAC Properties unveiled, The Residences as well as AYKON Hotel and Hotel Apartments at AYKON City, a unique development centrally located on Sheikh Zayed Road and overlooking the Dubai Canal.

The first day of Cityscape exhibition which runs until 8 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, saw Emaar showing its newest development at Dubai Creek Harbour (The Tower).

Meanwhile, Dubai Holding presented Jumeirah Central, the AED 37 billion ($20 billion) project which was unveiled on Sunday.

Cityscape Global, the Middle East largest and most influential real estate exhibition, is bringing around 300 exhibitors from 30 countries to Dubai this year.
