Cairo – Mubasher: Cleopatra Hospital Co on Tuesday posted a 166% year-on-year hike in consolidated profits for the first nine months of 2018.
Net profit reached EGP 224.9 million in the period from January to September, versus EGP 84.6 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
At the level of standalone business, profits surged to EGP 147.2 million during the nine-month period ended September, versus EGP 62.9 million in the corresponding period of 2017.
Revenues increased to EGP 1.06 billion at the end of September from EGP 817.12 million in the prior-year period.
Cleopatra Hospital previously reported a 153.4% year-on-year surge in consolidated profits for the first half of 2018, recording a net profit of EGP 133.4 million from EGP 52.6 million.
