Dubai-Mubasher: The indicator for construction costs in Dubai fell 0.17% year-on-year in the first half of 2016, according to a new report by the Dubai Statistics Centre (DSC).
The indicator slid to 100.90 in H1-16 from 101.08 in the prior-year period.
Such decline was due to a drop by 0.44% in the indicator for equipment, labour and other costs from 103.47 in H1-15 to 103.02 in H1-16.
The indicator for raw materials rose from 99.48 in H1-15 to 98.49 in H1-16, a result of an increase in the prices of materials used for construction by 0.01%.
