Construction of AED 3.6b ICD Brookfield Place tower continues

Dubai - Mubasher: The construction work of AED 3.6 billion ($1 billion) ICD Brookfield Place within Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) district is ongoing.

The 54-storey, 282 metre-high ICD Brookfield Place tower, which has been designed by the British architects Foster, is a joint venture between joint venture between Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), a state-owned sovereign wealth fund, and Brookfield Property Partners. 

The tower will contain more than 900,00 0 square feet of Grade A office space and connect to a 150,000 square feet, five-storey retail centre. 

Moreover, it will include an 18,000-square feet public area flanked by restaurants that will feature regular arts and cultural events, and the complex will have parking for 2,700 cars.

The tower is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
