Riyadh – Mubasher: Container handing activity amounted to more than six million in 2017, said the Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) in a report on Monday.
The number of standardized containers reached 4.48 million, while trans-shipments hit 1.93 million, MAWANI’s report added.
Naval vessel number stood at 13,200, while passenger ships reached 1.3 million.
The cars which are transferred by ships hit 76,230, while livestock reached 6.85 million.
