Court defers KIB seized properties case

Mubasher: The Kuwait International Bank (KIB) said that the court has postponed a lawsuit filed against a client to 8 January 2018.

The legal case, which was heard on 23 October, is over the sale of seized properties in a public auction to repay indebtedness, according to a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.

It is noteworthy that the justice ministry will hold a real estate auction in the end of October to offer 49 land plots for sale at a total value of KWD 40 million; selling these land plots will be for the KIB and Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK).
