Kuwait-Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunications (Zain) said that the Iraqi court of appeal has decided to set 8 March to continue studying a tax lawsuit filed by Atheer-Iraq, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.
The decision was taken by the court on 25 February where a hearing has been held to consider an appeal lodged by Atheer Telecommunications against the Iraqi general commission for taxes which imposed a capital tax on a sale by Iraqna, a company owned by Atheer.
Zain stock grew 1.41% to settle at 360 fils at 9:50 am Kuwait time during Sunday’s trading session.
