Cairo – Mubasher: Credit Agricole Egypt posted net profits of EGP 1.03 billion during the first nine months of 2020, down by 44.3% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 1.86 billion in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
The bank’s net interest income retreated to EGP 2.15 billion in the January-September period from EGP 2.36 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the lender’s standalone net profits slid to EGP 1.03 billion in the nine-month period ended 30 September from EGP 1.86 billion in the year-ago period.
During the first half (H1) of 2020, Credit Agricole Egypt logged net profits of EGP 701.01 million, down from EGP 1.304 billion in H1-19.
