Cairo – Mubasher: Credit Agricole – Egypt reported a 21 profit increase in the third quarter of 2016, according to the consolidated financial results.
The bank earned EGP 326.39 million in the three months ended on 30 September, compared with EGP 269.93 million for the year-ago quarter.
The bank’s consolidated net profits for the first nine months reached EGP 956.66 million, higher 27.9% year-on-year from EGP 748.25 million.
The standalone results revealed that the bank registered a 30.1% profit increase to EGP 975.7 million, compared with EGP 749.9 million for the prior-year period.
Total deposits stood at EGP 30.35 billion, higher 13.8% from EGP 26.66 billion recorded in December 2015.
The bank granted loans at EGP 15.33 billon by the end of September 2016, higher 3.6% from EGP 14.7 billion loans given by the end of December 2015
The stock quote was placed at EGP 27 with a 12.44% rise.
