Cairo – Mubasher: Credit Agricole – Egypt reported an increase in Q1 profits by 33.8% year-over-year to EGP316 million from EGP236.2 million according to the consolidated financial results, the bank said in a bourse filing.
The bank’s standalone profits for the same period grew to EGP 313.4 million, which is 34.1% higher from EGP233.8 million for the year-ago quarter.
Total deposits reached EGP27.4 billion in the first quarter of 2016, compared to EGP26.7 billion by the end of December 2015.
Moreover, the bank’s loan portfolio was 2.7% higher to EGP15.2 billion by the end of March 2016 against EGP14.8 billion registered by the end of December 2015.
In 2015, the bank earned EGP1.037 billion, compared to EGP675.7 million in 2014.
