Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Crescent Petroleum is planning to raise its natural gas output at its Pearl Petroleum venture in northern Iraq, Reuters reported on Thursday, citing the company’s president Badr Jafar.
The UAE-based energy firm aims at boosting its gas production in Iraq by 80 million cubic feet per day (Mcfd) by October and by 500 Mcfd within three years, Jafar highlighted.
The aforementioned figures do not include the production of Crescent’s affiliate Dana Gas in Iraq, he added during a business conference.
He further noted that Pearl currently produces 330 Mcfd of gas and 20,000 barrels per day of condensate in northern Iraq.
