Crude prices decline in early trading ahead of Doha meeting

Mubasher: Crude prices saw a decline on Friday as traders seem indisposed to take new position before a weekend meeting of world's top oil producers.

At 8:45 GMT, Brent crude futures fell by 0.3% to $43.2 per barrel.

US light crude futures slipped by 0.48% to $41.2 a barrel.

World's oil producers led by Saudi Arabia and Russia will meet in Qatar on Sunday to consider freezing oil production at the current levels for restoring balance between supply and demand.
