Riyadh – Mubasher: Cumulocity, a global leader in industrial AIoT, has joined forces with Aramco Digital, a tech subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, to expand the deployment of its enterprise-grade platform across the GCC region.
Under the signed agreement, Cumulocity will connect its AIoT platform with Aramco Digital’s local solution design, integration, and execution capabilities to speed up production-ready deployments in asset-intensive industries, according to a press release.
The collaboration aims to promote industrial digitalization across the region by enabling real-time monitoring and intelligent management of connected assets and vehicle fleets. This is expected to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and data-driven decision-making.
Nabil Al Nuaim, CEO of Aramco Digital, said: “By combining a proven industrial AIoT platform with strong regional execution capabilities, we are enabling organizations to connect critical assets, enhance operational insight, and translate data into measurable business outcomes.”
Bernd Gross, CEO of Cumulocity, indicated: “Aramco Digital’s regional expertise and proven ability to deliver complex industrial digital transformation projects make them an ideal partner for scaling advanced IoT solutions across the region.”
GCC-based industrial operators are modernizing large fleets of connected assets across sectors including transportation, logistics, energy, and infrastructure. These programs require secure, scalable technologies supported by deep operational and regional expertise.
Through this collaboration, businesses will gain access to Cumulocity’s advanced platform, backed by Aramco Digital’s local engineering, integration, and lifecycle support services, helping to fast-track large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Earlier this month, Aramco Ventures participated in a $36 million funding round for US-based deeptech startup Via Separations, alongside Climate Investment and Marathon Petroleum.
