Mubasher: Cyclone Mekunu hit the southern part of Oman leaving two dead, including a 12-year-old girl, according to official sources.
On the other hand, three people holding Asian nationalities are reportedly missing.
The cyclone is beginning to weaken to a tropical storm in Oman which would hopefully not result in more casualties.
In Yemen, seven people were killed, while around 40 are missing.
