Dubai – Mubasher: DAMAC Properties has awarded an AED 600 million contract to China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) for the construction of a tower at AYKON City, the UAE-based developer announced on Tuesday.
Located at Sheikh Zayed Road, the tower covered in the contract consists of serviced apartments within the AYKON City development, DAMAC revealed.
“This is a major contract towards the realisation of AYKON City, one of DAMAC Properties’ largest master developments in the heart of Dubai,” DAMAC Properties’ senior vice president – commercial Mohammed Tahaineh commented.
The tower includes two basements, ground floor, and ten podium levels, along with a dedicated lifestyle and entertainment level, 53 residential floors, and a rooftop.
“The towers at AYKON City will be yet another iconic addition to this great city’s dynamic skyline, and we are accelerating its development by choosing the right partner for the job,” Tahaineh added.
Under the signed agreement, the main works are expected to start on 1 March 2018.
