DC Aviation Al Futtaim is expanding its VIP lounge and hangar facility by taking an extra 10,000 square meters of space in the Dubai South district, the company said in a statement.
The recent increase in demand for the company’s services as well as Dubai airport’s decision to transition all corporate and private aviation activities to Al Maktoum International Airport have encouraged Al Futtaim to sign the lease deal, said general manager Holger Ostheimer.
The aircraft maintenance and business charter company that is based out of Al Maktoum International Airport clarified that the newly leased area will double the company’s hangar capacity, which measures 5,700 square meters, and will allow it to add two single aisle aircraft maintenance bays.
