Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), Investment Corporation of Dubai's (ICD) unit, announced that it has completed delivering six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft to Bahrain's state-owned Gulf Air.
“We are delighted to partner with Gulf Air and deliver these new-technology wide-body aircraft to assist the airline with its fleet transition strategy,” Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, said.
The deal was conducted in November 2017, and both parties agreed that the delivery will take place between April 2018 and February 2019, according to DAE’s statement released on Wednesday.
“We have already witnessed increased customer satisfaction with the new modern, fuel-efficient Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners as they are deployed on popular routes such as London, Casablanca, Bangkok and Manila,” Krešimir Kučko, CEO of Gulf Air, commented.
