Dubai - Mubasher: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced plans to invest AED 81 billion ($22 billion) over the next five years leading to Dubai Expo 2020.
The agency is building three stations to provide electricity and water infrastructure for the Expo site, with investments of AED 4.26 billion ($1.1 billion).
DEWA aims to enhance infrastructure and total production capacity of electricity to reach 10,200 megawatts (MW), with water desalination capacity of 470 million gallons.
