Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is set to execute six sustainable development projects at Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve in Dubai.
DEWA’s plans include providing clean energy from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, in addition to the installation and connection of solar panels on the rooftops of the reserve’s facilities, according to an official statement.
The Dubai's state-run utility gave no further details on the cost of the projects or their timeframe but said it would develop advanced water infrastructure at Al Marmoom Reserve as well as install smart metres there.
Hosting a variety of plants, animals, and birds, Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve will include over 20 projects implemented by nine government organisations.
