Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 0.23% or 7.62 points to close Monday at 3,391.67 points.
The real estate segment topped gainers with a rise of 0.54%, on the back of Emaar Malls which levelled up by 1.19%.
The investment sector rose by 0.12%, in line with the 2.47% growth of GGICO.
Meanwhile, the consumer segment led decliners with 0.81%, dragged by DXB which lost 0.95%.
DFM’s turnover decreased to AED 263.53 million from AED 264.1 million in the prior session, as trading volume shrank to 290.09 million shares from 292.72 million.
