Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s trading session in the negative territory.
The DFM’s general index went down 0.99%, or 25.61 points, to finish the last session of the week at 2,574.21 points.
Market capitalisation decreased by AED 1 billion to AED 346.302 billion.
Turnover amounted to AED 487.35 million after 342.220 million shares exchanged hands through 3,281 transactions.
The banks sector topped the losers, falling 1.87% as Dubai Islamic Bank plunged 6.53%, while the real estate sector went down 1.15% on the back of Emaar’s 2.13% drop.
