Dubai –Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Exchange (DFM) levelled down by 0.01% or 0.31 points at the end of Tuesday’s trading session, closing at the level of 2,705.16 points.
The bourse’s turnover registered AED 877.36 million after 449.74 million shares were traded through 5,066 transactions.
The market cap value increased by AED 100 million to stand at AED 368.03 billion from AED 367.93 billion on Monday.
The consumer staples sector went down by 3.22%, while the services sector added 0.57%.
Ekttitab Holding led the losers with 3.41%, while Al Madina for Finance and Investment headed the winners with 5.62%.
Emaar Properties saw the highest liquidity of AED 333.72 million, while Union Properties led the trading activity through 143.04 million shares.
As for the leading stocks, Emaar Properties and DXB Entertainments fell by 1.44% and 0.95%, respectively.
