Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday’s trading session on a green zone, unlike its negative performance on Monday, 9 March.
The main index jumped by 7.32% or 152.17 points to close at 2,231.09 points.
A total of 343.19 million shares were traded through 6,470 transactions at a total value of AED 447.59 million.
The market cap value climbed by AED 8.89 billion to AED 320.88 billion from AED 311.99 billion during the previous session.
Regarding the sectors, the real estate headed the gainers with 7.13%.
Al Madina for Finance and Investment topped 31 winners with 15%, while Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) came on top of five decliners with 10.53%.
Deyaar Development posted the highest trading volume of 65.21 million shares, while Emirates NBD recorded the highest turnover of AED 116.52 million.
Meanwhile, Dubai Investments led the rising blue chips with 9.35%.
