Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) added 0.45% or 23.43 points to close Wednesday at 2,813.22 points.
The investment sector headed the gainers with 1.77%, endorsed by the 5% rise of Shuaa to AED 1.03.
The insurance segment went up 1.75% in line with the 7.37% increase of Aman Insurance to AED 0.51.
The real estate sector also gained 1.15% in line with the 3.16% rise of Union Properties (up).
Meanwhile, the consumer staples segment went down 0.35%, with DXB Entertainments registering profit-taking activity.
The DFM’s market capitalisation gained AED 1.94 billion ($530 million) to reach AED 365.11 billion when compared to AED 363.17 billion in the previous session.
