DFM closes Wednesday up 0.97%

Dubai –Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session up by 0.97% after closing at 2,713.57 points, signalling the highest rise since 14 November's session.   

The market’s turnover decreased to AED 229.88 million when compared to AED 307.24 million in the previous session, while the trading volume fell to 128.29 million shares from 185.58 million

The banks sector led the gainers with 1.85% as Emirates NBD went up by 3.31% and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) edged up by 0.56%

On the other hand, the investment sector declined by 0.32% after Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and Shuaa Capital declined by 1.23 % and 0.26%, respectively.

Emirates NBD showed the highest liquidity of AED 60 million through the exchange of 4.85 million shares.
