DFM closes with AED 2.45bn loss on Wednesday

Dubai – Mubasher: The general index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 26.11 points, or 0.92%, to close at 2,823.56 points on Wednesday

The investment, real estate, consumer staples, and banking sectors declined by 0.99%, 0.79%, 0.78%, and 0.77%, respectively.

Dubai Investments shed 1.54% to AED 1.28, while Damac Properties sank 1.41% to AED 0.91 and DXB Entertainments levelled down by 1.39% to AED 0.21.

Emaar Properties lost 1.25% to AED 4.73, as Emirates NBD shrank by 1.12% to AED 13.25 and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) shed 0.94% to AED 5.29.

The DFM’s trading volume reached 67.487 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 123.745 million. market capitalisation lost AED 2.45 billion, standing at AED 370.47 billion.
