Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) confirmed on Thursday the international news that it plans to introduce covered short selling for selected securities to boost liquidity.
The bourse will provide the service within months following approval by market regulator, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
Abu Dhabi’s bourse also announced last week its intention to introduce covered short-selling in the first quarter of 2017.
